Hey George,
if your engine is leaking, by all means do
something about it, especially if the bike is
new and thereīs still warranty on it. Oil leaking
from top of the cylinder head is not uncommon to
the Savage (mine did it twice), but can be cured!
Take it to your dealer and get it fixed. Donīt
accept a "no" from him, rathr change the mechanic
or garage if they`re not willing (or able) to get
it fixed. If thereīs oil coming from the cylinder
head you probably didnīt warm the engine up properly
before giving it high revs.
